๐Ÿงฎ Calculator โ€” full guide

The Arbitrage Calculator turns a spread into a concrete profit number for your position size. Enter the trade details and it applies the real exchange fees to tell you what you actually keep โ€” before you commit capital.

๐Ÿ“ฅ Inputs

  • Spread โ€” the gross percentage gap you see on the scanner.
  • Buy / Sell exchange โ€” the two venues (their fees are pulled from the Fees table).
  • Type โ€” spot or futures (fees differ).
  • Amount โ€” your position size in USD.

๐Ÿ“ค Result

  • Net spread โ€” the gap that survives after both exchanges' fees.
  • Net profit โ€” the actual dollars you keep on the amount you entered.

If Net profit is negative, the fees outweigh the spread at that size โ€” increase the edge or skip it.

โœ… How to use it

  • Sanity-check any spread before trading it โ€” a 1% gross gap can be near-zero after fees on small size.
  • Compare venues: the same spread nets differently depending on each exchange's fee tier.
  • Use it to find your minimum viable size where profit clears the fixed transfer costs.
